Update: Mercedes GLK-Class Spied

Here’s a couple of spy shots showing the forthcoming Mercedes GLK-Class out on the streets.

Sharing an almost identical chassis with the C-Class 4MATIC, we can expect a similar powerplant lineup. The RWD version using a 190 bhp 2.2L CDI and 231 bhp 3.0L V6. Its AWD brother receiving either a 224 bhp 3.0L diesel or 272 bhp 3.5L V6.

Designed to go up against Audi’s forthcoming Q5 and BMW’s X3, the GLK-Class should be with us by 2008.
