Mercedes-Benz is recalling A- and B-class vehicles and C-class station wagons produced between May 2005 and May 2006 due to a possible malfunction in their windshield wipers, the Dow Jones Newswires reported, citing a company spokesman.
A possible lack of insulation in the switch could cause the front and back wipers to fail. It can be fixed by replacing a switch.
The majority of the vehicles affected were sold in Germany but some may have come to the U.S.
