DaimlerChrysler steps up R&D spending in Germany
Reuters / FRANKFURT -- DaimlerChrysler will invest around 100 million euros ($133 million) over the next five years to expand research and development at its plant in Sindelfingen, Germany, it said today.
The money will finance building climate tunnels and a driving simulator for the Mercedes Car Group premium vehicle division, the world's fifth-biggest carmaker said in a statement.
