Imperial Brand was part of the Chrysler Group

DETROIT FREE PRESS - - Information in Motor City Sunday in the Business & Money section about the 1960 Imperial Crown convertible at the Automotive Hall of Fame classic car show was incorrect. It should not have called it a Chrysler. Imperial became a separate brand within Chrysler Corp. in 1954 for the 1955 model year. It remained separate until 1970.
