DaimlerChrysler to issue $2.02 bln auto ABS

NEW YORK, Sept 25 (Reuters) - DaimlerChrysler (DCXGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) is slated to issue $2.02 billion of asset-backed securities supported by auto loans, a source familiar with the deal said on Monday.

Banc of America Securities, Barclays Capital and JP Morgan Securities are the deal's lead underwriters, the source said.
