Chrysler Extends Employee Discounts

The Daily Auto Insider Friday - - Chrysler, which is already offering the general public employee-style discounts on cars and trucks, is now sweetening the deal for its actual employees, the Detroit News reported.

The automaker is offering its workers another $500 to $1,000 on select models.

Current deal: Employee discount with zero-percent financing or cash rebates of up to $3,500, depending on model. A 30-day refund guaranteed if customer's unhappy with purchase.

New bonus cash for employees: An extra $500 to $1,000 — up to $2,500 total — on select 2006 model year Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles.

Customer rebate total: $2,500 on short-wheel based Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan, $4,000 on Dodge Durango and $3,000 to $3,500 Chrysler Pacifica.

Now, Chrysler is offering an additional $500 to $1,000 in rebates on select 2006 model Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. The price adjustments mean Chrysler workers will have up to $2,500 in bonus cash on top of their employee discount
