EDMUNDS - - Just in time for those snowy drives up to the Vail ski slopes, Mercedes-Benz has announced the addition of 4Matic to their premium S550 sedan. MB has offered 4Matic in the past on the S-Class, but are just now making it available on the new-generation model. Unlike the on-demand AWD offered on some other premium brands, 4Matic is a permanent all-wheel drive system. MSRP on the 382 hp maximum-traction luxury liner begins at $89,525.
