Dodge Viper Caught In Sleet Testing

WINDING ROAD - - Art Director Nate Luzod and his trusty sidekick, Mae Magsalin (her real name), caught this “Viper Blue” Dodge Viper SRT10 on I-275 in Detroit today. Curiously, the engineering team still felt the need to cover the hood in vinyl, even though the Viper launched weeks ago at the Detroit Auto Show. All the same, it was interesting to see the vehicle out and about over the weekend in the freezing temperatures. Our art director reports that the driver kept the 8.4-liter beast moving slowly.

The car seems to be a Frankenstein-like mule, with a 2008 hood but a current-generation front clip (note the larger fog lights as opposed to the 2009’s smaller units).
