Chrysler Sees '07 Gain in U.S. Share

WALL STREET JOURNAL | Neal E. Boudette | DETROIT -- DaimlerChrysler AG's Chrysler Group told auto dealers in a meeting here yesterday that the auto maker expects to gain nearly a full percentage point of market share in the U.S. next year thanks to several new models, people who attended the event said.

Still, the auto maker faces a climb in selling the bloated inventory of cars and trucks that dealers and Chrysler itself are holding.
